El Salvador.

God has opened doors miraculously this year in El Salvador.  Two new provinces have taken the Project 100% and organized the logistics for the training and distribution.  We are very excited to see the hunger and the acceptance to God’s Word in the schools of this country.

Testimony

A educational authority from a new municipality in Honduras wrote us a letter to request Vital Values with Jesus.  He wrote: “We would ask you to provide your material as we see it will help us educate our students in the buisness of life.”

Honduras

It’s almost beyond belief how the new education authorities that came in with the new goverment have adopted Project Jesus, not only with words, but also with actions.  They lent us wonderful space for a packing area and pitched in with trucks and drivers and helpers to facilitate the distribution.  The top most authorities have given their absolute support and have requested books for all of Honduras for 2023.

Nicaragua.

This year, God enabled the Project to reach the final 10% of Nicaragua, a large jungle area with very few roads.  We want to thank the volunteers that came to help as they drove countless hours with overloaded trucks.  We praise the Lord for the opportunity to reach 100% of Nicaragua.  We are excited about the plans to build a Central American packing place and office in northern Nicaragua.

Testimony

A teacher in Heredia and told us about one of her students who is autistic.  The parents weren’t sure that they wanted to tackle the digital lessons as they felt it would double their work with their son.  But later the mother called the teacher and very emotionally related how in that doing the lesson on the Value of Obedience and particularly in doing the craft together and learning the application, their son sat still for an unusually long time, something that really surprised the mother and father. The mother is very happy for the interest their son shows in the lessons, saying that some of them he has practically done alone.  The teacher told us that the mother could hardly find words to express their thankfulness for Project Jesus, that she sends lots of good wishes and blessings.  The teacher herself expressed her own gratitude and joy.

Costa Rica.

Based in San Jose, 3 staff members promote and distribute the material to all areas of the country.  Our focus is to slowly pass more responsibility on to the ministry of education supervisors in each district for the distribution and follow-up, thus enabling the teams to distribute more.  In 2022, 40% of the elementary students studied the life of Christ in their classes through the use of Vital Values with Jesus.

Panama.

This year in Panamá looked very different for the Project as we were dealing with official permissions and review of the material, but God is good and we are granted national permission in May, 2022.  We were able to distribute books to a few schools in each region.  For 2023, the regional authorities have opened the doors to reach 100% of the schools in 11 school zones.

Testimony

One second grade boy was very violent.  His parents abandoned him with his grandma and his dad only returned every once in a while, to beat him up.  When the class studied the value on LOVE, the students suddenly stopped what they were doing and all went and hugged the little boy, telling him that they loved him.  He cried, impacted by God’s love for the first time.  After that, he was changed.  He became happy, peaceful, and participated in class.  That’s what God’s love does.

Testimony

Teacher Lidia told us of how her students have put into practice the values taught in the books.  They especially understood the value of sharing.  They are now sharing hugs and loving words with their family members.  She has enjoyed working with Vital Values because of the varity of activities.  Teacher Lidia and her students look forward to using the books again next year.

Colombia

God continues to lay a base in Colombia that should result in seeing growth in this large country.  With the books arriving in May instead of January, we are still in distribution here.

Bolivia

This is the second year of the pilot plan in Bolivia.  There seems to be alot of open doors and we pray that the Lord sets it up, piece by piece, until every child is studying Jesus in school.  We are very excited about what God has planned for this beautiful country.
