“One of my students, Luis, was very badly behaved and wouldn’t participate in class. While studying the value of helping others, he offered to help a special needs boy, Roger. They worked very well together, but they didn’t finished the lesson. The next week Luis brought me his finished work as well as his work from all year that he had refused to do. He told me that Roger had come to his house every day of the past week to help him study. His parents were never at home to help him but once Roger came, Luis felt motivated to do it all.”
